In my previous post, I took a lot of time to explain what coffeesantea stands for, this is because I wanted it to be clear to you what my Brand will be known for. I might not be big for now but I intend to use this little corner of mine on the internet to help someone like you achieve his or her goals, believe in yourself and if you are in a low place right now, to try again.
This week I saw a Chinese proverb which really taught me something, it says " not the crying of the wild duck but the flying of the duck that makes the flock to fly and follow it". This simple proverb got me thinking about the fact that its not how we cry about a situation that changes it but what we do about it.
Are you in a bad situation right now? and you have been crying your eyes out, cry no more here is what you are going to do.
First take a cup of coffee- This will energize you and if you are a coffee lover, it will simply make you feel better, what if you are not a coffee drinker? then take a cup of tea. The aim is to help you relax and re-energize. Coffee does not only signify a drink but a connection with other people in this sphere of life. Sometimes going out to take a cup of coffee in a cafe can help you clear your head about an issue you have been struggling with
Think about your probable solutions- No solution is stupid, just write it down and move on. After writing your solutions down, eliminate the ones that you know are probably not feasible right now and arrive at your two or three best options
Plan: Plan out your strategy, what you will do and how you will go about it, trust me as you go through this different phases you will begin to feel better, because you have first of all gotten yourself out of the rut of a sitting duck. Remember the wild dick proverb, its the flying not the cry, meaning that its the motion that causes others to begin to follow it. This means that all the time she spent crying out, she had the potential to be a leader but sorrow and doubt and lack of self belief kept her in the sitting and crying position. In other words don't be a sitting and crying duck.
Execute: After you have marshaled out your plan of execution, then begin to take action, your action needs not be perfect, just begin to do something from the plan you have laid out and you will find that answers will come to you as you move on. The first time I ever started a Blog, I did not know what I was doing but I knew that was what I wanted to achieve, I bit the bullet and took the first step. Today thehomebusinessowner is more than one year in the making and I cant believe all that I have learned in starting that blog. Taking action is what produces results not sitting down
